Kya is a terrific midfielder. She is assertive on the draw circle where she fights for the 50/50 balls and comes up with possession for her team. She is fast and deceptive about the timing of her cuts. Excellent ability to utilize both hands. Her strong shots on cage are accurately placed. She will continue to work on the communication piece on defense when pressuring out into a double team. Kya’s 1v1 defense and footwork is exceptional. She reads the ball well and creates multiple caused turnovers. Her dodging ability is extremely shifty combined with a quick shot release make it difficult to match her.
