After Team 24/7 and Team Carolina have merged their high school programs to form Team 24/7 Carolina, and their 2020 squad is a strong, versatile group of players. It’s supported by a deep group of defensemen that held Crabs to just 4 goals in a past matchup and is headlined by Colby Barsz (committed to Towson). Barsz has gradually filled into his long frame and will be aided by Williamson, Kleiderer, and Logan, who Flanagan is surprised have still not been snatched up by college teams. In the midfield, Rizzo is another athletic player that has grown into his body and will be joined by Trevor Kelly (uncommitted), who Flanagan believes is a top 50 midfielder in the country. Their motion offense, which doesn’t run many set plays, gives the green light to a number of talented attackman including Goodelle, who is one of the more unguardable players on the club circuit. Finally, 24/7 is another team that splits playing time between two goalies. Aside from Ix, there’s Beau Hecimovich, who will be playing college ball with Rizzo at High Point.
