While this team is filled with a number of talented players, both committed and uncommitted, its stars are in goal and at the X. Krieg is the top-ranked goalie in his class and will be a Tar Heel once he graduates, while Naso is one of the top-ranked FOGOs and will be joining Krieg in the ACC at Virginia. They’re surrounded by players like Juengerkes, who’s a do-it-all throwback of a midfielder and will give Legacy some physicality on the wings. He’ll contribute offensively along with Mercado, who was a late bloomer but is expected by Zummo to come into his own this summer. Their defense will be led by Schrank and Greco, who fractured his ankle during the fall of his sophomore year but at 6’2” has the size and the tools to be successful.
