NXT  Lacrosse
#22 Ranked 2020

View Roster & Highlights

Head Coach: Chris Williams

Breakout candidates: Matthew Ottilo (D - Uncommitted), Michael Leschinsky (M - Uncommitted), Ben Tishgart (FO/M - Uncommitted), Cole Schwartz (D - Uncommitted)
Potential X-Factors: Peter Lehman (A - Committed to Lafayette), Grayson Dague (M - Committed to Cleveland State), Charlie Nuschke (D - Committed to Harvard), Kyle Cullen (M - Uncommitted)
Play Style: "Gritty, not always pretty”
Quote to remember: “Peter Lehman is a showstopper in a Pat Spencer way - when he gets the ball, it looks like something good’s gonna happen, it’s just a matter of time.” - Marty Kupprion, VP of NXT Boys Lacrosse
Kupprion couldn’t stop praising Lehman, who will likely be NXT’s top scorer and best player this summer. But the strengths of this team lay in its defense and two-way middies. Schwartz, who Kupprion called the leader of the team, will be the captain of the defense and will be flanked by Nuschke and Ottilo on their backline. Leschinsky, who Kupprion said is just scratching the surface of his potential, will bring elite athleticism and physicality to both sides of the ball. He’s joined in the midfield by Dague and Cullen in addition to Tishgart, who will earn face-off duties as well. In goal, NXT features two uncommitted players that each have unique strengths. Ben Franco is a bigger goalie with quick feet, while Jake Marchiafava is smaller but has great athleticism.
Schedule:
  •  Adrenaline Platinum Cup
  • NXT Penn Invitational
  •  NLF Summer Championships
  •  Philly Summer Showcase
  • NXT Philly Summer Invitational
