Goforth, who started the Freedom program with Bob Miller about a decade ago, has been coaching the 2020 team since they were in fourth grade. The 2020 squad features his son, five-star midfielder Gabriel Goforth, along with other talented players across the board. The Maryland commit will be joined in the midfield by Hueston and Brofft, a strong player who can finish with both hands. Offensively Morin will lead the way in addition to the likes of Mitch Lachman (uncommitted), a big attackman with soft hands who can finish anywhere. Nick Redd (committed to Maryland), a long pole who Goforth said has improved tremendously since last summer, will hold down the fort defensively next to Sam Kirk (uncommitted), Liam Kirk (uncommitted) and Tyler Morgan, who is committed to play collegiately at York. Like many teams, Freedom will split time in goal between a pair of players - Tyler Muir, who is committed to St. Bonaventure, and Keegan Billie (uncommitted).
