Caroline is an incredible athlete. Her presence on the field starts with her go-getter mentality at the draw circle coming up with one handed snags and accelerating through ground balls. Her Lacrosse IQ is exceptional. She understands when to push the fast break and utilizes her quick change of direction on the run with powerful outside shots down the alley to cage. Also, her great field awareness and vision of an open teammate and the ability to feed the ball tight into the 8. She cuts well off-ball creating space and has excellent shot placement, especially on 8-meter free positions. Caroline will continue to be an offensive threat while challenging herself to take even more shots in her non-dominant hand (left) to improve her game. She will also strive to communicate more with her defense when applying high pressure due to the risk of an opponent getting past her, even though her speed does aid in the recovery. Her ability to handle her own in 1 v 1’s is impressive with stellar defensive positioning and anticipating the ball for interceptions. Her outstanding hustle is noticed all over the field whether in the ride redefending with a clean check or having a heads up play to re-dodge and attack when the defense relaxes.
