Ryan is an athletic goalie who isn't afraid to come out of the cage on clears. He moves around a lot in the net, but he has quick reflexes that allow him to make saves even if he isn't perfectly square to the shooter. He throws accurate outlet passes as well, although he does hold on to the ball a little too long at times. He'll want to start being more steady and balanced in the net as the shooters he faces continue to improve.
