Johnny is a skilled FOGO who also has good speed in transition. He can win the ball forward to himself and start transition, but he isn't a one trick pony. He battles hard for ground balls, and isn't shy about having the ball in his stick. He has good counters when he doesn't win the draw cleanly, and his speed sets him apart. Johnny takes a lot of shots off faceoffs, but he'll need to start scoring more of them otherwise all his hard work at the X will be for naught.
