Carson is a reactive goalie and a skilled ball stopper. He does a good job of coming out towards the shooter on shots in close, making himself big and restricting their shooting area. He is very active in the net, and doesn't really get himself settled before shots. He seems like he is always leaning forward and moving his feet as shots come in. It works for him, but he'll need to tighten that up as he starts facing better shooters.
