The Predators have a flexible team and an offense that can both score in transition or pick you apart 6-on-6. McLane, who’s improved his dodging and opposite hand of late, will do a lot of the scoring along with Hanau, who McCall believes has tremendous upside as a two-way middie. Hanau is joined in the midfield by Murray, who can also play two ways and was deemed the fastest player on the team by his head coach. Lavelle leads a defense that is backed by Kleban and Carroll, who will split time in goal. McCall believes that “pound-for-pound, I don’t think there are two better goalies on one team in the country.” Neither of them are streaky and both of them are good communicators, which bodes well for a Predators team that likes to control the pace of the game.
