Quote to remember:
"Everybody talks about fundamentals. For us, it's doing all the little things right all the time. We have zero plays at rising sons. We said hey, we're gonna teach the kids how to play.” Tad Doyle, Rising Sons 2020 Head Coach

Doyle, a self-proclaimed former “football guy” who played the sport at Bucknell, didn’t get into lacrosse until his son Champ, who’s an attackman on the 20s, began to play it. Ever since, he’s been a staple in the Philadelphia lacrosse community. Champ (committed to Fairfield) will serve as the captain of sorts for Rising Sons’ offense, which will be free-flowing and facilitated in part by Glavin, a lefty who does all the little things for the team. Its midfield group is strong, literally and figuratively, thanks to the presences of Mann, the 6-foot-4, 240-lb grandson of a former Green Bay Packers player, and Pettinelli, another big middie. They’ll be joined by Hoff, who’s Doyle’s favorite player on the team because of his willingness to do anything the team needs him to do. Rising Sons’ defense will be formidable as well, as Smith and Prestipino will be heading to elite lacrosse teams in college while Chastain turned down offers to do the same to instead play at Air Force. In goal for the team is one of the best goalie pairings in the country in Nico Iacovino (committed to Villanova) and Matt Chess (committed to Army), who has gradually worked his way into a great player in the cage.
