Class of 2021

Attack
Lance Davis,  Patriot Elite, #20, Morristown HS - Lance is really coming on as a player.  He has played attack for most of his career, but we are finding he is more effective (and comfortable) in front of the cage.   Lance is a three year varsity player in football (defensive back) and lacrosse.   Lance brings toughness and athleticism to the lacrosse field.  In front of the cage Lance is a strong dodger and shooter.  He is an excellent candidate for D3, but is also  drawing D1 attention.  He is worth a good look. Gabe Best, True National 2021 Green, #7, Cape Henlopen HS - Big, strong dominating attackman that can create opportunities with his vision and accurate shot.  Gabe Best usually draws the opponents top defender every game and can put the offense on his back.

Holt Matheis, Prime Time, Georgetown commit, Darien - Blessed with great change of direction, Holt is the ultimate QB at the X possession. Can dodge to feed and score.

Mattheis Theriault, Team CT, #5 - Great dodger/finisher, smart, Choat Rosemary Hall, Eventual Captain, Great grades/family

Tommy Quinson, 2Way, #1 - Shifty, makes highlight reel players every game, late bloomer who is really starting to shine. Very creative attackman who also rides like crazy and steals back many possessions with incredible GBs. One of the best GB players in the country for the 2021 class.

Leo Johnson, Eclipse, #31 - Lefty. Dynamic scorer and feeder with ridiculously high IQ

Liam Sargent, FLG, #15 - Sargent is lefty, he’s big, and he’s a dangerous late bloomer. Standing over 6’ 2”, Sargent can sling the ball from any release point. Place Sargent anywhere on the field in the offensive end and he can get to the rack and draw slides. Sargent is going to be one of the biggest ’21 recruits once coaches see him this summer because he has just blossomed physically and has all the skill / positive mental attributes to succeed in the college game

Timmy Koltermann, BBL, #24, Ridgewood High School - Big time dodger. Creates offense every time he is on the field. Great speed and first step.

Jack McKenna, CT Wolves, #14 - Committed to Fairfield U, 3 Sport athlete big size and athletic 6'6"

T.J. Buono, Patriot Elite, #1, Northern Highlands HS - T. J. is a slick attackman who was heading into his third varsity season as a starter at Northern Highlands.  TJ is also an accomplished varsity track athlete. He is a quarterback style attackman who is most comfortable playing at X.  I could not be more impressed with TJ and his progress as an athlete and the way he has attacked the recruiting process. T. Tyler Dinapoli, Team CT, #99 - Freak athlete, one of the best athletes on the field, refuses to lose, hard nosed, 3 sport athlete, blue-collared kid, good grades, 2x HS captain, reclassifying fall 2020 at Canterbury.

Tommy Robertozzi, BBL, #32, Pingry High School - QB type, facilitator, the offense usually runs through him.

Shea Grant, CT Wolves, #24 - Tough matchup for any defenseman. Very skilled and athletic. Twin Sister committed to Delaware

Brady Rood, True National 2021 Green, #27, Loyola Blakefield - Brady Rood is a pure scorer with a left handed laser that always finds the back of the net. Equally dangerous as an offensive middie that can attack the goal from top of the box

Marcus Colaco, BBL, #3, Chatham High School - Canadian box lacrosse background. Talented finisher and dodger from x and wings.

Jared Morales, LI Outlaws, #99, @Jared_Morales - Athletic midfielder with great size, strength, and skill for the next level. Has the ability to create separation dodging to either hand. Shoots the ball with accuracy with either hand. Excels in the transition game and a great time and room shooter. Has grown as a facilitator, adding another dimension to his offensive skill set. Chris Canet, Eclipse, #34 - Lightning Fast middie who creates a ton of offense 6v6 and in transition

Wes Peene, Patriot Elite, #18, Ridgewood, HS - Wes is an imposing player at 6’3” and 225 lbs.   In my opinion he is a late bloomer as an athlete and will be a good catch for the one who is lucky enough to get him.  It is a shame he missed this spring after coming off a great varsity basketball season.  In addition to size, Wes brings athleticism and skill.  He is an effective dodger and shooter with both hands.  Wes is an excellent student with a 4.0/4.0 gpa, and ACT Score of 31.  Profile and Video Link: https://sportsrecruits.com/athlete/wes_peene2

John Maranto, True National 2021 Green, #28, Boys Latin School - John Maranto plays solid, smart and fundamentally sound defense.  Very athletic and quick with great stick skills.  John also is the voice of the defense as he sees the offense like a coach.


Alex Jones, NJLC - Alec is a dynamic, dodging Mid who can sting it with either hand.

Albert Pannica, Igloo, #33 - The best 2 way middie on the team, do it all hard working player that has a high IQ and skill set…

Ezra Zabukovic, True National 2021 Black, #13 - Spilt dodge that can't be defended. Awesome field vision. Elite two-way middie

Kasey Mongillo, Team CT, #22 - Special Athlete, speed demon with great motor, hard/accurate shot, strong dodger, 2x HS captain, loves the defensive battle, reclassifying, good grades/family. 

Charlie Keating, 2Way, #7 - Uncommitted, old-school middie that does it all. Great leader, will run through a wall for his teammates.

Quinn Braddick, CT Wolves, #10 - Very skilled and smooth player. Can go both ways and high IQ

Thomas Decker, FLG, #10 - Decker is a highly touted midfield recruit because of his QB like persona from the midfield. Decker is a rare dodging/feeding midfielder who can dissect a defense with the ball in his stick. He can score too. On the run, sweeping, out of the doge, with time and room or off-ball; doesn’t matter, he can score in more ways than one. Because he is so great at scoring, and has such great vision, he is so dangerous on the offensive end.)

Connor Davisson, Patriot Elite, #10, Millburn HS - Connor is a three year multi-sport varsity athlete, football (Wide Receiver) and lacrosse.  He is a solid utility midfielder who can play both sides of the ball. He is a good size kid at 6’ 2” 195lbs.  Connor has steadily improved over the years.  Connor projects to be a strong candidate for most D3 level programs. He is a good student with a gpa of 3.1/4.0 and 32 ACT

Kieran Thomas, LI Outlaws, #86, @Kieran86Thomas - A 6’3 midfielder with great speed and skilled in the fundamentals. A midfielder who has many intangibles that do not always show up in the box score, but always leaves an impression on the game. Underrated offensive player because of his team first attitude. Has all of the skills and physical tools to be a “do everything” midfielder at the next level. His willingness to make sacrifices makes our team better. Highlight Film

Andrew Walenty, NJLC - Andrew is a dynamic, speedy midfielder who can get separation from anyone on the field. He also excels on the Soccer field as well

PJ Cass, Team CT - Strong dodger, bull, nationally ranked skier, good family, smart kid, wants NESCAC.

Will Spehr, FLG, #99 - Spehr is your ideal two-way, transition midfielder. Never gets tired, super athletic, lefty, and does not get beat on defense. Will is super tough and is great in transition because of his speed, stamina, and athleticism. Don’t sleep on Will in the offensive end as he can score off cuts or with the ball in his stick.

Will Montesi, 2Way, #11 - Big, strong, fast 2-way middie. Tough as nails on defense and can put up big numbers on the offensive side of the field. Future stud NCAA player. Big time football athlete as well.

Lee Rock, True National 2021 Green, #14, Archbishop Curley - Great two-way middie that can shoot on the run and play tough defense. Lee Rock  also excels in transition with his speed and I.Q. A team first type of player that also serves as the team captain.

Ryan Caione, Eclipse, #5 - Plays bigger than he is, tough on D and ground balls, and very dangerous in the 2 man game on the wing on offense


Defense
Charlie Silver, True National 2021 Black, #51 - Big, athletic, tough defender. Fantastic footwork. Throws hard checks. Great mental player 

Keith Boyer, Prime Time, Duke commit, Yorktown - The premier defenseman in the the 2021 class, Keith is Inside Lacrosse’s #2 player in the class. Keith is an elite athlete who can play both LSM & Close.

Michael Frechette, Eclipse, #47 - Premier 1v1 defender who throws checks like a college defenseman

Mason Russo. Patriot Elite, #16, Seton Hall Prep - At 6’5” Mason is a tall and rangy player with D1 ability.  Mason is trending upwards in every way, academics, athletics and character development.  I am very proud of him. Norberto Dehoyos, LI Outlaws, Defense/LSM, #4, @Notbertoo - A hybrid defender who has the size and athleticism to play LSM or as a close defender. Has a great motor and the physical toughness to match up against players with good size. Has the ability to face-off with his pole and has a knack for winning ground balls of the face-off wing. Aidan Schumman, Team CT - Athletic, long, lean smart, good lefty stick, tough, leader, HS captain 3 sport.

Charlie Borthwick, 2Way, #18 - Smooth defenseman with outstanding speed and stick work. Usually covering the #1 attackman. Overall - great lockdown cover guy.

Zach Bucher, Patriot Elite, #4, Verona HS - Zach is a two sport star at Verona HS (Football and Lacrosse).  Zach is a physical, athletic and skilled defenseman.  He is also a capable LSM with a strong motor.   He has been a varsity starter since his freshman season. .  Zach plays with an edge and is a perfect candidate for D3 programs and the right D1 program. Zach’s preference is lacrosse, but would entertain the conversation of playing two sports in college.   Zach is a very good student with a GPA 3.89/4.0. Chris Cataldo, 2Way, #5 - Big, strong defenseman who puts a ton of pressure on opposing attackman. Great in transition with creating offense off of a clear. Overall outstanding cover d-guy.

Isaiah Bell, LI Outlaws, #14, @Zaymoney14 - A defender with the great potential to be an eventual lockdown defender at the next level. Has the size and athleticism to match feet with talented offensive players. Has a great motor and extremely coachable. A great communicator and teammate.

Goalie
Ward Tucker, FLG, #25 - Ward  is an exceptional stopper, who is super athletic and is made for the next level. Ward is elite amongst the uncommitted goalies in the ’21 class. He is super under the radar and should definitely be tracked!)

Damian A. Levin, LI Outlaws, #48, @Damian48 A diamond in the rough at the goalie position. Has great instincts and hand speed. A player with a high lacrosse IQ who has learned how to use his voice to call out schemes and slide packages. Has the ability to start transition with quick accurate outlet passes. Plays his best in big games. A player passionate about the game of lacrosse. Highlight Film

Riley Evans, True National 2021 Green, #5, St Mary's School - Riley steps in the cage and gets to work. Anchoring a strong defense with his ability to make the outside saves, point blank saves and clear the ball with precision.

Robbie Trovato, Legacy, #12 - Leader, vocal, athletic, great stopping ability

Joey Greco, Igloo, #13 - Very quick hands, amazing outlets, and can make very difficult saves...

Declan Maseker,  Patriot Elite, #13, Delbarton School - Declan is a big and athletic goaltender - he fills a lot of the cage and is very agile.  Declan is a very committed young man.  The evidence is in all of his endeavors, lacrosse, academics and the recruiting process.  His growth in all areas is real as he moves towards his potential.   Declan was a Delbarton varsity member in 2019 which is an achievement in itself.  Heading into the 2020 season Declan was prepared to compete for a starting role.  Unfortunately, we will not see how this was going to play out.   Declan is getting deserving and significant interest from high level D1 programs.  Declan has a 3.7/4.0 gpa and first try at the ACT score of 29.  Profile and Video Link: https://sportsrecruits.com/athlete/declan_maseker

Charlie Milne-Home, Patriot Elite, #2, Summit HS - Charlie is a big and athletic goaltender - he fills a lot of the cage and is very agile. Harrison Rocheville, FOGO, Patriot Elite, #15, Seton Hall Prep - Harrison is a very good FOGO.  He has been above 70% on the club circuit and has been very competitive if not better than many D1 commits. ​Sean Miller, FLG, Midfield/Face-off, #98 - Miller is an absolute warrior on the field. Always leaving it all out there, Miller is an animal at the X, on wings, between the lines and on the defensive half of the field. Miller is a meat and potatoes, eats nails for breakfast kind of kid, who is willing to run through a wall to do what’s best for the team. He’s an absolute gem of a recruit for anyone looking for a kid at his position.

Ryan Colsey, Eclipse Lacrosse 2022 Colsey, #3 - Son of Roy Colsey, Lefty, super high skill, box player on the field, dodges through contact

McCabe Millon, Team 91 MD, #9 -  Actually a 2023 that plays up, McCabe is one of the top attackmen in his class, and excels even at the 22 level.  He is a ball carrying attackman with great vision and IQ with an incredible COD and an innate ability to make plays.  McCabe is extremely tough on ground balls, and one of the hardest working kids I know. Brandon Stuart, Patriot Elite, #18, Don Bosco Prep (6’1”, 190 lbs) - Brandon is an absolute force from the Midfield. Matthew Waterhouse, Prime Time, Braircliff - ACC/Big 10 Athlete with a lethal first step. Waterhouse lead Briarcliff to the state championship game his freshman year with a dominate 5 goal performance in the sectional finals including the OT game winner.

Kevin Dolan, Legacy, #23 - Big down hill dodger with a heavy shot

Eric has a tremendous upside and could evolve into being a top recruit in the ’23 class because he’s the whole package)

Joey DeYoung, NJLC - Joey is a big strong attack man who can run at midfield as well. Joey upside is off the charts.  ​

Will Deo, BBL, #25, Gill St. Bernards - Elite dodger, shooter, finisher. A crafty player who can create from anywhere on the field.

Tommy Augustine, Eclipse, #5 - crafty and high stick skills, great IQ and dangerous dodger

Maddux Little, CT Wolves, #11 - Very skilled high level player with a bright future. Best player on team and Canadian born with a great first step and IQ

Jackson Wolframe, Prime Time, Brunswick - Great change of direction and has the ability to dodge to feed or score

Alex Siegel, FLG, #3 - Siegel is a very high IQ X-attackman who can command an offense and make great decisions. Offenses run through him because he always knows where the ball should go and understands the pace of the game. Siegel is very skilled, and is great at leader on the field. Siegel is a very capable dodger with two hands from X, giving himself the ability to turn the corner and score at will.)

Daniel Cano, BBL, #2, Westfield - Quick, shifty, left-handed attackman. Love his game, has little "Sowers" in him

Midfield
Will Erdmann, Eclipse, #20 - downhill dodging middie with a big OH shot, does the little things well, monster with the ball in his stick

Benn Johnston, True National 2023 Black, #24 - Big, strong midfielder, top player in the country, two way middie, scorching shots on the run righty and lefty, 


Trevor Gayron, FLG, Midfield/FO, #10 - Trevor is one of the best athletes in this class. Runs like the wind, very athletic, super strong, and can play two ways. Trevor is a multi-sport athlete from Farmingdale who represents toughness, discipline, and all the intangibles to be great)

Tomas Delgado, Prime Time, Brunswick - A player with an intense high motor that can get to the goal at will. Has the ability to take over games and is the ultimate alpha male midfielder

Luke Macejka, BBL, #32, Bergen Catholic - Highly Skilled and athletic midfielder.

Joey Mattord - True National 2023 Green, #7 - Exceptional athlete, dynamic dodger, lightening fast, tough as nails

Patrick Mullen, Prime Time, Brunswick - Strong north south dodger with the ability to also play attack.

Drew McKittrick, Legacy Tornadoes, #9, West Babylon HS - Drew started at Quarterback and Safety as a freshman this past year on his high schools Varsity football team. He's an elite level athlete with an absolute cannon of a shot on the run. With speed to burn there aren't many players at the age who can run with him from up top. Slide early, and hell find the open man, slide late and the balls in the back of the net.

Kian McCarthy, Prime Time, Iona Prep - Has a strong shot on the run and ability to shoot from range

Defense
Matt Pantorno, FLG, #43 - Pantorno is one of the best defenseman on Long Island in his class. Fundamentally sound, tremendous feet, smart off-ball, tremendous and does not get beat on ball. Pantorno is the ideal defenseman because he is good in so many ways. A great stick gives him poise and confidence in the clear and in contested GB situations. One of the smartest players to come through our program in a long time.)

Ben Konder, Team 91 MD, #12 - Ben is a very smart and athletic defender who plays great team and individual defense.  One of the top cover guys in 2023, who will continue to get better.

Luke Hublitz, Eclipse, #45 - big strong defender with vicious slap check, good stick and gets up and down the field well

Paul McLucas, Team 91 MD, Defense/LSM, #12 - Paul causes havoc all over the field.  Can play at close, LSM, and face off if needed.  Dominant cover guy, and great on ground balls.  One of the top 24's in the country and a fierce competitor with excellent footwork and speed.


Goalie
Kevin Devine, Prime Time, North Rockland - Big time goalie who takes up a bunch of space. Kevin is great in tight and has the ability to spark transition with his outlet passes

Aidan Troy, BBL, #42, Pingry - Elite level shot-stopper. Quick hands, great feet, understands team defense. Not sure I've seen a better goalie in the 2023 class.

Specialty
Christian Updale, NJLC, FO - Christian is an all round athlete who excels both on the lacrosse field and football field. On the lacrosse Field, he dominates in between the lines and has a motor that never stops

Nate Schwitzenberg, True National 2023 Black, LSM, #8 - Fast, athletic and dominant defender, wins 1 on 3 ground balls, rarely gets beat, big team player
