Quote to remember:  “The beauty of this team is that even though they're so individually talented, you'll never see a group play better team lacrosse." -Joe Spallina, Team 91 LI Crush Head Coach
Headlining Team 91 Crush’s 2020 team is Inside Lacrosse’s top player in the class, Brennan O’Neill. The St. Anthony’s product will look to lead Express’ high-powered offense in his final summer club season, and will be joined by his head coach’s son, Joey Spallina (uncommitted). Spallina is playing two years above his age group, as the Mount Sinai attackman is just finishing his freshman year of high school. Reda and McAdorey, who is one of the best clearing midfielders in the country, will help facilitate the offense from the midfield as the two have combined for 40 goals in their high school seasons. On the other side of the field, Schirtzer (the No. 2 defender in the 2020 class per IL) and LiCalzi (No.5) hold it down for 91, who will likely split time in goal between a pair of players. They are Jayson Tingue (committed to UMBC) and Daniel LePino (uncommitted), although Tingue will likely play the lion’s share of minutes in tight games. Finally, the team’s faceoff group will feature a pair of players who may face each other soon enough in the college ranks, as Koby Ginder (committed to Princeton) and Kevin Sweeney (committed to Brown) will both see time at the X.
