Potential X-Factors: Tatum Geist (A - Committed to Georgetown), Widdy Tevis (M - Uncommitted), Devon Ortman (D - Committed to Fresno State), Boo Dewitt (A - Committed to Cal)
Playstyle: Athletic, fast
Quote to remember: “The girls can out athlete and outrun most teams in the country, and they have great chemistry for as little as they practice.” - Theresa Sherry, Tenacity Project Founder and CEO
There are a good amount of uncommitted players on Tenacity, but make no mistake - that’s only because of the team’s location. In the midfield, players like Tevis, the heart of the team who leads by example, and Perez, who’s developing into a leader and x-factor, are both uncommitted but have more than enough talent to play collegiately. They’ll help get the offense get going, where versatile players like Geist will convert transition opportunities. By her side will be Dewitt, who’s had a good spring and was her high school league’s MVP as a sophomore. Defensively there’s Ortman, who’s the leader of the team, and Bellack, who was the MVP in her high school league in two different sports this year. Finally, Tenacity’s goaltender this summer is Paige Doyle, who will be playing college ball across the country at Davidson.
