Aidan Swartz Video Breakdown
Coaches Comments:
  • Aidan Swartz is an extremely intelligent D-man, fundamentally sound, and shows high IQ all over the field. He is constantly in position with his stick up and in passing lanes. He has the capability of playing LSM or close and his stick work allows him to run the field in transition well. He throws hard checks and enjoys imposing his will on competitors. His footwork has continued to improve and he is able to open his hips quickly to defend change of direction. Aidan is a very coachable young man that strives to improve every time he is on the field. Brett Frood-Cannon School Lacrosse

  • Aidan Swartz is the real deal when you’re talking D-poles. He is so diverse in his game that he can play anywhere a coach needs him to. He knows that his role is to cause as much chaos for an opposing offense and he owns that role very well. His aggressive nature, toughness on ground balls and overall technique when throwing checks are what have made Aidan the player he is today. All opposing teams should be worried about this kid when his man has the ball. Aidan is a true competitor with the heart of a lion. I’ll coach that kid any day! Alex Tindall-Team Carolina
  • As the college game evolves, the role of the LSM does too. Swartz exemplifies how lethal a pole with great handles and an understanding of transition offense can do(0:36). Swartz looks comfortable taking the ball up the field whether it be off a clean pick up or streaking down the field on an outlet pass. He had an aggressive stick on Sunday, but never put himself out of position while throwing some heavy checks. Swartz motor never seemed to drop as he pressured offensive players all over the field. Combine his athleticism with his great footwork and Swartz looks to be a great pick up for any D1 team looking to bolster their wing play. -APEX Greensboro Showcase Stand Out write up
