  • ​Matt is without a doubt one of the smartest players on the field. He understands how to adjust the defense on the fly depending on who has the ball and where the defense should be ready to go from. A field general that has poise and confidence. He rarely gets beat 1 v 1 and if by chance he does he does a remarkable job of recovering to make any attempt difficult on his opponents. Matt is one of the most underrated defenders in this class.

Coleman is a ground ball machine and someone you can always count on to make a clutch play on the defensive end. He’s willing to step up in big games and is a true leader on and off the field.

  • Matthew has participated in Varsity lacrosse since his freshman year, and received the Heart and Hustle award for the Spring 2019 season.
  • He was named All Division Suffolk-County team during the 2019 season as well as the Nassau/Suffolk Top 50.
  • He was selected as team captain for the 2020 season with Connetquot High School
