Nike G8 Middle School/Youth Teams That Impressed

The Middle School and Youth squads at the Nike G8 didn’t let a one-day, three-game format hold them back. With high energy, tight competition, and standout performances across the board, here’s a breakdown of the teams that rose to the top in each age group and bracket:

Class of 2030

Black Bracket
Yellow Jackets Mullen dominated the field, going undefeated with wins by at least five goals over Salt City Green, Prime Time White, and South Jersey Select Black.

Blue Bracket
Steps Elite NJ Blue also went a perfect 3-0, securing all their victories by four goals or more. They took down South Jersey Select Pink, Long Island Top Guns Purple, and Yellow Jackets North Tiso.

Green Bracket
Yellow Jackets Mid-Atlantic DMV put together a strong showing with two dominant wins — an 8-goal victory over CT Grizzlies Yellow and a 7-goal win over NXT Volt. They capped it off with a 7–6 nail-biter over Steps Elite NJ White.

Orange Bracket
#18 Yellow Jackets O’Sullivan went undefeated in a tough bracket. They earned a revenge win over #23 CT Grizzlies Navy and took down #13 Salt City Pink and All American Aim.

Pink Bracket
Mad Dog West Elite went 3-0 and grabbed two Top 25 wins over #21 Aces Elite and #22 HHH Philly, along with a victory over DEWLAX Black — a strong push for a late-summer Top 25 spot.

Purple Bracket
#11 Monster Purple swept the bracket with wins over Gold Coast Black, Laxachusetts Black, and #12 Long Island Top Guns Black.

Black Bracket
Yellow Jackets Patrone turned in a dominant 3-0 run, winning each game by 10 or more goals. Their wins came against Salt City Pink, South Jersey Select Pink, and NXT Volt.

Blue Bracket
Long Island Top Guns Purple also went undefeated, picking up wins over Legends Gold, HHH Philly, and CT Grizzlies Yellow.

Green Bracket
Yellow Jackets Mid-Atlantic Whalen went 3-0 and notched a Top 25 win in the process. They defeated Mad Dog Shore, CT Grizzlies Navy, and #25 All American Aim — whom they had already beaten earlier this summer.

Orange Bracket
#24 Aces Elite posted a perfect weekend with wins over NXT Black, Mad Dog West Elite, and #21 Steps Elite NJ Blue.

Red Bracket
In the most competitive bracket for 2031, #4 Legends NJ Black went 4-0, claiming wins over #19 Gold Coast Black, #5 Long Island Top Guns Black, #10 Monster Purple, and #17 Laxachusetts Black.

Indigo Bracket
Salt City Pink took control of the bracket with three big wins, each by at least five goals. They topped South Jersey Select Pink, HHH Philly, and Long Island Top Guns Purple.

Violet Bracket
#1 Long Island Top Guns Black lived up to their ranking, going 3-0. They defeated #13 Legends NJ (remaining undefeated in that matchup this summer), and added wins over #25 Aces Elite and NXT Black.

Maroon Bracket
#4 Laxachusetts Black pulled off an impressive run, including a thrilling one-goal win over #3 Monster Purple. They also notched convincing wins over #17 All American Aim and Gold Coast Black.
