Tournament Spotlight
Tournament of the Week: NLF Rumble at Rutgers
đź“… When: Saturday–Sunday, June 7–8, 2025
📍 Where: Rutgers University
đź‘€ Who’s Playing: Some of the top 2026–2028 club teams in the nation are set to battle it out
in New Jersey, making this one of the most anticipated weekends of the summer circuit.
2026 Division
While they’re in different brackets, this tournament features both of the top two teams in the
class — a massive draw for scouts and fans alike:
â—Ź #1 LI Express Channy – the team to beat, loaded with talent across the board
â—Ź #2 Laxachusetts Black – physical, disciplined, and out for the top spot
There’s a chance these two could meet in a crossover or late-stage bracket game, and if they do,
it’ll be must-watch lacrosse.
2027 Division
This group is stacked across both pools, featuring high-powered matchups and deep talent:
â—Ź #4 Laxachusetts Black – brings grit and polish
â—Ź #10 Madlax Capital – always a threat in big-game settings
â—Ź #16 Baltimore Crabs – riding a strong spring
â—Ź #22 Leading Edge – hungry to climb the rankings
With that mix, pool play alone could feel like bracket play.
2028 Division
While not as deep in terms of ranked teams, this division is wide open. Many of these programs
are looking to make a statement and climb the national charts:
â—Ź #16 LI Express Chucks Black – enters as the highest-ranked team
â—Ź #29 Madlax – Capital – brings a strong track record of developing talent
Don’t be surprised if an unranked squad makes a splash.
